This review is about dr LeVine who works or at least worked at this practice. After having had ~10000$ worth of dental work done over the course of 5 years in Switzerland, my wife went to see dr LeVine with an irritated gums problem in march 2014. She looked in my wife's mouth and went "OMG!, whoever did this really did a terrible job!" but fortunately, for only $12000 we could have all teeth and implants pulled and replaced by new implants before the summer. we were really lucky to have come here because this awful amateurism of our swiss dentist was bordering on the criminally incompetent, but luckily dr Levine taught at university herself, so we were sure to be in good hands now. A Dr. Handelsman, gum specialist, was called in, looked and confirmed the 'amateurism diagnosis', because her crowns had been put in too deep and the only option was surgery'. Lucky us! only 12k and her smile would be up to Hollywood standards. A little shocked that our trusted Swiss dentist/oral surgeon turned out to have been a dangerous dillettant, on our next visit to Switzerland a few weeks later we went for an independent third-opinion at the Zurich university hospital. We did not know that doctor, nor did he know our regular dentist. My wife first showed the irritated gums which were diagnosed as relatively harmless and treatable with some cream. Then she asked if there was anything wrong with any of the other teeth or the general quality of her dental work and the doctor was surprised when she then told what dr Levine had said. Just to be sure, he called in 2 colleagues who all looked and confirmed that pulling everything and replacing with implants would be outrageous.
