1Took child in for a regular cleaning, and several months later (8 1/2 months after date of service) I am in contact with a billing supervisor, Amber, stating that the dental coverage was not valid, and is trying to force me to pay full price for the exam and cleaning. Se went so far as to state that if I did not pay immediately, that the bill will be sent to collections. When I contacted the dental plan, they stated that the office never tried to bill for date of service. I have spent several days, several phone calls later, and she still refuses to work with me to get the proof that the coverage is valid! I also caught her in several erroneous statements and untruths....When I requested a supervisor, she stated there was nobody above her. She speaks poorly for the practice if she is using threats and erroneous statements to try and gauge for a cash payment, rather then a discounted payment that the insurance companies would pay normally. The insurance company stated that the practice has never tried to bill for date of service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD THERE!!!! It is not worth the time trying to clean up their extortion attempts, threats and rudeness, almost 9 months later, after date of service. By the way, I received 2 billings from them during the 8 1/2 months, stating there was a zero balance. It is time for another dental visit for a cleaning, I will be taking my child somewhere else.
