How Patients FeelPOSITIVE
I recently had my first visit to the new Rusty Kirkland, DDS dental office as a patient. Although Building 4 is set back from Rodeo Park Drive East it was easy to find because it is taller than the ones in front. There was plenty of parking and the office was clearly identified on the signage. The front desk staff and administrator Bonnie Oooley warmly welcomed me into the elegant and spacious waiting area. My visit was a hygiene appointment, my first with Randi Berkholder, who promptly met me and took me back to one of the six treatment rooms. I was initially a bit nervous because it had been quite some time since Iâd visited a hygienist. Although the examination showed my condition had deteriorated, Randiâs gracious manner of informing me of the news gave no cause for embarrassment. Her friendly and compassionate way of discussing my treatment options helped me feel hopeful about the challenges ahead. She also relayed interesting information about laser periodontal treatment that was very encouraging. While it was unfortunate I put off treatment as long as I have, Iâm looking forward to getting back on track with my dental health by following the treatment plan Randi suggested.
