Saw him for consult for removal of my only two 25 y/o amalgam fillings. Dr. asked if I had any pain and I told him no. He asked again and I said I have a hairline fracture in my back molar that is not too bothersome. I DID have a hairline fracture that my primary had monitored for years. Dr. then placed a hard ball in the pocket of this tooth and told me repeatedly to bite down \'As HARD AS I CAN!\' destroying it. I now have to have it removed completely and replaced with an implant,His specialty!
