How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
32This review is based off of 2 1/2 years of Dr. Donnelly as my dentist. I was recommended to Dr. Donnelly from a co-worker. I mainly saw her for cleanings each year, but never needed fillings. In 2016, I finally needed a filling on my lower left 2nd molar. 1/16- I got the filling09/16- Went back because of discomfort in my filling02/17- Went back because the filling popped out while flossing. Dr. Donnelly observed I had new decay under where the filling had been. She cleaned it out and put a new filling in. 08/17- Went back because of discomfort of my new filling. I got an X-ray and we could see there was darkness where the filling was placed, but claimed that was normal.09/17 (1 month later)- Went to a new dentist to get a second opinion because I had pain when I chew. He took a new X-Ray and said he'd like to remove the filling and put in a temporary filling (said my nerve could be inflamed). He removed the filling and found new tooth decay. Said that I may need a root canal since there was so much trauma to my tooth. Said I had an acid reflux problem and need to see a doctor because my teeth were thinning. Said I have 3 more cavities and showed me pictures of everything. He then called me 3 days later to see how my teeth were feeling. So basically my review is this: I wouldn't recommend Dr. Donnelly. I would 100% recommend my new dentist and you can find my review on him in my profile, but I would caution anyone on seeing Dr. Donnelly. I just think that a good dentist would have done a better job.
