How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
1Having far-from-perfect teeth, I visit David Brown once a year to get his advice, whether my teeth hurt or not. He examines the teeth, and perhaps makes some xrays. He tests the teeth for sensitivity to percussion, heat, cold, etc. and listens carefully as I describe how the teeth feel and my interests. Then we discuss which teeth are most likely to fail early, and which will likely last 5 or 10 more years if we do nothing. We talk about the approximate costs of repairing each tooth, whether through endodontics, oral surgery or regular dentistry. We discuss the advantages of acting now versus waiting. We talk about probabilities of success, and how long specific repairs would last. With his help, I choose a strategy of which tooth to address next, and which one after that, and what to do if that front tooth gives out early, creating a thorough plan. He understands my desire for good functional teeth, and he understands my desire to conserve what's left of the money in my pocket. His advice is thoughtful and rational. I think he's great.
