Dr. Refahi studied in the Advanced General Dentistry post-graduate residency program in order to study advanced and complex cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. Before coming to California in 2009, Dr. Refahi also worked alongside an exceptional team of dentists in the state of Virginia.
Dr. Refahi continues to receive extensive training each year to update and perfect the art of dentistry. His skills in advanced general dentistry have led his office to be a top San Diego dental implant provider. He is also a member of the Dawson Academy, which is a postgraduate program that provides exceptional training in complete dental therapy through extremely comprehensive, individualized treatment approaches about how patient's teeth function in conjunction with chewing muscles and joints (TMJ).

101I know how hard - though very important - it is to find a good dentist so I'll take some time to write this review. I've had some horror stories with my previous dentists - I kid you not. In the middle of my previous wisdom extraction, I heard my dentist say, "oh uh." From top to bottom, this is by far one of the best medical/dental offices that I have ever been to. Special shout outs to: KARINA - Her patience is endless, and she's the master at making it all work, even with our family's crazy schedule. AND!! She does all this with a smile on her face! ROZA - She will explain everything to you when freak out about various procedures, I do this often :) She simply exudes warmth, and makes our family feel perfectly comfortable... at a dental office - we all know how hard that is to do :P WENDY - She is the hygienist that does our family's deep cleanings and I think she works on Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays. After every explanation, she will check in with you to make sure that you understand, so you're not left confused about what's happening to your teeth. She will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable while sitting on that chair, letting you know when things will hurt, ache, etc. - so there are no surprises. Our family LOVES Wendy! :) Dr. Nick - He took out my wisdom, and I didn't feel a thing - This is saying a lot, because I am a HUGE WUSS! Many will testify to this :P Both the procedure and recovery process was seamless. This dude is def a cool cat :)
