4Booked for 2yr old & confirmed insurance. Office opened an hour late, crowd waiting. Reception had none of my insurance info. Waited 40 mins past appt for reverification. Dr. Lalehzari was behind the counter and not wearing a mask at times. The exam room, about 200 sq. feet. The room was not previously prepped or disinfected as nurse took us back before doing so. Dentist and nurse each had a disposable gown on, a mask, and a face shield. We were in the exam room for total of 10 min. I was told was against the policy to take xray on kids younger than 4. I got a claim from the completely WRONG insurance. They listed my 2 year old son as the policy holder. I dont understand why, after sharing all of our insurance information TWICE, that they still billed the WRONG insurance company in the WRONG name. on the claim they charged $96 for xrays (which were never taken due to the policy) AND $200 charge for PPE!! All in all it was about a $1000 claim for 10 minutes of work preformed on my kid.
