Very friendly doctor and clinic. I am not a patient of Dr. Huls, but he treated me as his patient when I traveled from Houston TX to Urbana IL and had a brace hook broken. During my short visit there, I saw that he and his staff treated his patients like family. .
I just realized my write up didn't post! I just completed my orthodontic treatment and could not be more pleased! I found Dr. Huls and his staff to be very kind and attentive to my needs. Dr. Huls was very thorough and never rushed through any of my appointments. Most importantly, my teeth look phenomenal! A big thank you to Dr. Huls and his office for a wonderful experience!.
This doctor seems knowledgeable, but something is not quite right. He was late for my appointment, which I did not mind until he said he was with a patient, and I saw him walk through the parking lot moments before seeing me. Now, he could have been with a patient moments before but he was still late, so do not try to cover. Just be honest or exempt it from conversation, we will respect you all the same. He sat across from me during the consultation, and to some, his approach may come across as patient centered, but he seemed a bit disingenuous. He also found it necessary to tell me he was board certified and that I should read his resume because he knows what my teeth need. I've seen plenty of resumes that are stellar but a resume really speaks to your writing not necessarily your skill, compassion or your ability to relate to all patients. I am sure many of his patients are satisfied with his care but first impressions really matter to me, especially when I am spending $5000. My recommendation for this doctor is to listen to the patient's questions and the background information they offer without asserting his credentials. Savvy patients have already researched the doctor before an appointment is secheduled, so an additional rundown is not necessary..

Best Dentist I have ever had! My entire family have been patients of Dr. Trowell for over 16 years! He was the first dentist my children saw when we moved down here and they still visit him twice a year 16 years later. Dr. Trowell is knowledgable, patient and very interested in not only our teeth but our over all health and well being. I am thrilled I found a dentist like him and even more happy that he is now in the Johns Creek area. We all recommend him highly..
