Ridgeland Family Dentistry

I am a physician. I have had a series of less than desired dental experiences throughout my life and to be fair, I probably have more fear of a dentist than I do a handgun. My wife asked me about my experience with Dr. Gower and when I told her she was great, she was dumbfounded and said she would have to make an appointment as well as I have never had a positive dental comment. Ok, the seat on the waiting room chair is a bit hard. That's my negative comment. I don't believe I could have asked for a more professional dentist or staff however. Dr. Gower was timely, friendly, and efficient. She told me I needed a filling replaced. She then took a picture of the tooth and showed me where the prior filling was beginning to crack and fall out. She did not try to sell me on procedures I did not need. When I returned for the filling, it was I think as comfortable an experience as could have taken place. The injection was expertly done and caused only the most minimal discomfort. The filling was also done with expertise. With a blindfold, I would have thought she had been doing this all her life. Yes she is fairly young but as competent as any dentist I have known. I only hope she continues to practice until I am dead.
