I went there because I had a horrible toothache. They took 9 x-rays before he looked at my teeth. The Dr. came in cleaned my teeth and then left the room. A 'cleaning' is the dentist brushing your teeth for you. He said nothing to me! I asked the 'assistant' what was up and she said "you're done!" WHAT? What the hell about my throbbing tooth pain? Did I have another cavity? Naturally I had some questions. I said I wanted to talk to the Dr. Well, you have to wait, she said as she made a huffy sigh noise. He returned and told me I had a cavity. And about my killer toothache? You need to go to an Oral surgeon and have it pulled, he said politely. The tooth has more filling than tooth. I can thank American Family Dental on 5th St. for that!!! He told me he didn't feel comfortable, that he wasn't sure how to properly remove the tooth ( top molar, 2nd one in from the back) without causing more damage. Really?? Ok, I'm only 40yrs. old. I never heard of a dentist so easily willing to get rid of a tooth. Dentists want you to KEEP all your teeth. Hello? Ever heard of a crown?? O boy. This place was unreal. I thought I was on an episode of MTV's PUNKED. The girls up front were very nice. Dr. Jin (when he spoke) was nice. But when it comes to drilling around in my mouth? Nice DOESN'T cut it. Find another place to go.
