Dr. William Buckley, DDS

After all cavities taken care of, Dr. Ho prescribed me fluoride toothpaste that I could pick up from drugstores and wanted me to start using it right away on regular basic to prevent future cavities. This is emotional and beyond standard of dental care nowadays. Greatly appreciated of his help. .

Pulaski Health Center

I have worked at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center for almost 3 years now. I'm very proud to be part of such an amazing group of caring professionals. My Dad spent several weeks at this facility receiving rehabilitation services. The staff treated him as if he was their father and I felt very confident in the care he received. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehabilitation services or long term care needs. .

My Mom (Aiko Boothe) was released last week after 2 months of recovery and rehab. I have the highest praise for this facility and its personnel, especially those in TCU. The staff is professional and gives care with a lot of love and kindness. My mother just loves Anita Cole who went beyond standard care. Mom adores and is thankful for the prayer shawl that she made for her. She loved doing therapy with special help from Joni and Mandi. She really enjoys being around others and would sneak back in there even when her therapy was over. Mom is a picky eater and we appreciate Tiny Mabe constantly trying to find something she would eat. It?s a daily battle for us too. I would like to personally thank Kelly Stacy and Gracie Dishon on helping mom get settled in the first night while she was so upset from the post-hospital transfer there. You get to see what it?s really like for the staff and patients, since my dad and I rotated 12 hour shifts with mom. The caregivers are now my new found friends. I?ve watched the nurses, CNA?s, and therapists all work hard to make each patient or resident feel comfortable and loved even when they themselves are physically and mentally hurting , or exhausted. Some patrons are just very hard to please or require a lot of extra help. There is a great team effort with this staff and help each other constantly to make sure all runs smoothly. I want to especially thank these people that I got to know and care about. The nurses Kelly Stacy, Kimberly Thomas, Sara Myers, Amber Fitzgerald, Kelly Weaver, Teri, Daneille Harris, Ashley Fields, Stephanie Robertson, Julie Kinney, Andrew Dehart. The therapists Joni Eversole, Amanda Carter, Rachel Vipperman, and the rest of that department. The Dining staff Tiny and Susie. Last but never the least, The ever hard working endless caring CNA's: Anita Cole, DeAndre Williams, Ashley Machano, Beth Sutherland, Gracie Dishon, Kendra Boone, Kristen Branscome, Brittany Johnson, Haley Charles, Caleigh Phibbs, Baleigh Reed. I am sure I have left off a lot of names but not intentionally. I've watched many of them rapidly going from one patient to another nonstop for hours without a break. They truly give it their all. In closing, I just want to say that I am grateful for the help and service given to my family and others. I would highly recommend this facility to those with rehab needs. Pulaski Health Center

I have worked for Pulaski Health and Rehab for almost two years now and I must say, it is a wonderful place to be! Our staff is awesome and everyone provides excellent customer service to our residents. In October 2015, my grandmother had a stroke which affected her dominant side. She was in need of rehab for speech, physical and occupational therapy. Without question, we chose to bring her to our facility even though she and all of my family live in Radford. While at Pulaski Health and Rehab, my grandmother received phenomenal care from every department. She loved her nurses and aides and always gave candy to them. She had nicknames for her therapists who worked so hard to get her to a safe place to discharge back home. She absolutely loved the food and the dietary staff, and often asked to see them, just to chat. My family also fell in love with our facility and the staff members here. It was like one big happy family! My sister got married two weeks after my grandmother had her stroke and she was not stable enough to attend. The activity director went into work on a Saturday and set up Skype so that my grandmother could be with us all day while my sister was getting ready and during the ceremony as well. That's just how the staff is at Pulaski Health and Rehab. Since then, my grandmother did great with therapy and was able to get back home. She had one more incident several months later and once again chose our facility to come back to. She was here for 3 weeks and is now back home, but asks me every day how the staff are doing at PHRC!!
