9This review is focused on Dr Thurman’s staff. I have to summarize my opinion and experience due to insufficient writing space. I had to wait 40 minutes past my appt time to see the dentist. After a brief 5 minutes with the dentist, he sent a lady in with forms she wanted me to sign. They were financial forms containing the amount I would have to pay out-of-pocket after my insurance paid their 50%. But the paperwork stated I would pay about $750 and my insurance would pay about $450. They were charging me for $300 worth of services I did not request and not covered by insurance. Next, they said, I had to pay the entire amount upfront, and wait to get a refund check once my insurance paid their part. Then I was told if the dentist discovered my tooth was fractured, he would not finish the route canal, but will be charged $400 for the attempt. If I want to decline doing a route canal, I owed them $160 for the 5 min exam. It felt like I was in a shady used car lot. STAY AWAY!!
