14What an absolutely ridiculous new patient experience I had!!! After part of a filling fell out during the weekend I left them a voicemail stating I would like to have the issue repaired and get a cleaning and asked them to please contact me Monday. To my delight they did so that morning and said they would work to get me in ASAP to fix the issue. I stated it was not down to the root and therefore not real painful and informed them instead of just fixing the filling I would like to schedule a cleaning as well. She informed me that would not be possible until Wednesday, to which I said great, put me down for that at 9:30am. I received a new patient welcome call from Dr. Barnett that Tuesday stating they were excited to see me the next day, he had reviewed the notes and understood what outcome I was seeking in my scheduled visit. Long story short, after arriving, getting x-ray's, sat in the chair, read the riot act about what all extras they offer and being told the doc would look in my mouth to determine what type of cleaning was need, I was told by the assistant there was no where in the notes about a filling needing fixing. I stated that is the main reason why I am here, she asked me to wait, came back again and said there is no staff here to do that today. She went to talk to Dr. Barnett and was sent back to tell me his schedule was full today and could not do anything about the problem. I stated to her, well there is no reason to proceed with a cleaning or my new patient visit b/c the filling repair is the main priority and if you can't do it then I will need to go to another dentist to do so. I attempted to call Dr. Barnett after I left since he never even had the courtesy to come out and speak with me while I was there and have yet to hear back.
