My sister and I both went to Dr. Bender as children and both of us were severely traumatized by the treatment we received at his office. I have scars in my soft palate where he forced my mouth closed on a bite wing x-ray film that was too large. It cut into the tissue under my tongue and was severely painful. When I began to cry because of the pain, he told me to "Shut up, you big baby!" I have many memories of his horrendous and abusive treatment..
I would shop around. The office is old. His procedures and equipment are antiquated. And i would definitely shop around, i find his prices are on the high side. (Yes i found a new dentist with up to date technology.).
I have been a patient of Dr. Fisher for over 20 years. I had such a fear of the dentist that I just wouldn't go. My teeth were a mess and needed so so much work. I no longer fear going to the dentist. He explains every thing that needs to be done and tells you before he does it. He doesn't do work that isn't needed and he also will work with you if you are strapped for money (pay as you go plan). My only complaint is that he doesn't take METLIFE, my insurance plan!! I highly recommend..

I can’t say enough positive comments about this office! Dr Sid and Dr Rebecca are complete professionals! They are kind, compassionate, and you can tell they absolutely love what they do ! I recommend them whole heartedly!.
