OK, first of all Dr. Frank Tinnemeyer is a very nice guy. My 4 and 5 year old sons needed a filling and he advised that I visit his wife Dr. Anjuli Tinnemeyer at Katsur Dental. He said that his wife was "great" with children. I made the appointment with Katsur and took my children there. Dr. Anjuli Tinnemeyer first of all did not allow me to stay with my children during the procedure which I advised her would make things better if I were there. She advised that no dentist would allow that. I advised her that all of the dentists I had ever visited allowed the parent to be with the child. So my 4 year old did great with his filling, then it was my 5 year old's turn. He is TERRIFIED of dentists and they knew this in advance. She told me to take my 4 year old to the waiting room. The 4 year old began to cry and the 5 year old was horrified that "Daddy" could not stay with him. After about 10 minutes Dr. Tinnemeyer came out and advised me that my 5 year old would have to have "general anesthesia" if he ever needed further treatment. I advised her that the Nitrous would not work on someone so anxious prior to the treatment, and she said that the nitrous did not work because he was so anxious. So to sum it up, Dr. Frank is a great guy and a wonderful dentist, however his wife, Dr. Anjuli Tinnemeyer is in my personal opinion "The Dentist From Hell" and you under no circumstance should be allowed to work with children due to her horrible demeanor.
