Marc Samuels DMD did my crowns, my entire mouth, approximately thirty five years ago and I still get compliment today on well my teeth look. i had a profession cleaning of my teeth this morning, 8-24-2021, and the dentist and his hygienist both commented on how great my crowns look and who could have done such amazing work? Marc Samuels DMD your the best! .
Do not go to this dentist. Went to him for my first root canal; which turned out to be a horrible experience. Already have a dental phobia, which the office was supposedly aware of, including this dentist. Along with tooth sensitivity from a separate disorder. This was by the far the worst experience I've ever had in the dentist chair. He was extremely rude - zero bedside manner. Didn't explain anything ahead of time, including interrupting me when I panicked and raised his voice with me enough that it brought me to tears. And snapped even though I was crying. Was not fully numbed and felt the procedure, even though he said I wouldn't. Also told me twice during the numbing portion of it - told me that it was my fault. My fault that I was there. No sedation during or pain killers for after the root canal, either. .
I have been a patient of Dr. Melucci since he took over Dr. Fletcher's practice and that is a very long time. Dr. Melucci and staff are always very friendly and professional in every way especially accommodating me when I need to change appointments. Equipment and procedures are update to give the patient the best dental care possible. I would not go any where else..
Great service — and thanks for the Perrier on the way out!.
It's about financial that need to explain a bit more because there is some insurance and a patient pay in half. I was assumed that my insurance will pay in full but 50% based on a crown. I learned that I had to pay in half afterward that I received the papers and read the whole explanation of payment. Good thing, I had some enough money to pay. Next time, it will be better communication and more detail information. The service is excellence and friendly..
For the first time in 10+ years with you, I felt that I was overcharged. Earlier, I had a filling done which required drilling out the tooth, filling it,novocain etc. It took ~45minutes. I was charged $160. On this visit, I had a temporary filling put in. No novocaine, took ~20 minutes. Same $160 charge. This may be your policy, and that is your business, but as I said, I felt overcharged on this visit. BTW, I only say this because you asked. Thank you for listening. Sam.
