Such a great atmosphere! Great dentist and staff! Relaxing..
Dr. Castle is very professional and very thorough, but this other man working at that office was horrible...I wasn't going to do this but thinking on it and being that no one has gotten back with us still, I am very disappointed in Oak Park Dental. Yesterday my 5 year old daughter had a horrible experience with a dentist there Mr. Duhon, he was not patient with her and did not explain anything he was doing. Being her first time having to see all the tools and different noises and things she was terrified, you've got to explain what's going on before you just throw a mask of gas on her face and shove things in her mouth. Strike one was when we arrived and no one spoke to us for an entire hour, strike two was when they finally did come in after explaining why they couldn't find her in the system because no one charted her x-ray from December which they JUST noticed that there was one cavity found. I understood that part because people make mistakes and I get it. But someone who was so rude, someone who you think is a "professional" and tried all of 3 minutes to get my daughter to cooperate with something shes never been through before then just told us to leave, that was it. Working with children you would think someone would have more compassion and patience. She was very good the entire time and didn't cause anyone any trouble she was just a scared 5 year old. No procedure was preformed even after he put a gas mask on her, he said he was finished. We left quietly and I called the administrator. Why would anyone go any place else but Oak Park Dental? They have a well trained staff and the latest technology. The same staff has been working there for a long time and know me by my first name. Dr Castle goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied when you leave. I would recommend them to all.my friends and family..
I am very impressed with Oak Park Dental. Everyone is nice and makes you feel like you are among friends. Beginning with the receptionist right when you walk in. The waiting time to be called back is not long and they take very good care of you. I had a cavity filled yesterday by Dr Ferro and the procedure went well. I felt no pain or discomfort. And he was conversational and made a few jokes which lightened the mood. The only thing I would suggest is to bring a light jacket because the office is very cold. I'm cold natured so it was very cold for me. I also like how they are working with me regarding my dental work, planning everything out. But I really like this dentist and will continue to go.
