Dr. Abernathy informed me one of my teeth had to have a cavity refilled. I proceeded to allow because insurance was very good for the time. I normally would go get second opinion before doing this, but I didn't and he damaged a nerve in my tooth when he went in to correct filling. I experienced worst galvanic shock after numbing agent wore off. Proceeded to go in the next day to have him fix whatever it was he did, and he told me it would cost between $2,200-2,500. I stuck it out for a long time of course crying myself to sleep for nights the pain was so intense and awful. Suddenly my jaw became swollen and the pain was emergency pain level. I immediately made a dental appointment with another dentist who informed me it was abcess, and a base line root canal would have to be performed. I was referred to an Endodontist immediately to perform the procedure. Also, the specialist only charged $1150 with a crown to follow of $690, but separate procedures all together. There is still swelling and heat months after root canal procedure was performed all thanks to the damaged nerve and tooth that became abcess because of it. I'm sure Dr. Abernathy is a great dentist, but he'll never work on my teeth again. I've never had to have dental procedures done like this or dental pain like it before. I take very good care of my teeth. I pray that all of it will soon be over and no further complications will surface. All this just from 20 mins under a care of a dentist.... ????????????.

Parsons Dental Clinic always seems to go out of their way to accommodate. The staff is always kind & knowledgeable. In the time that my older daughter (14) has been going here for orthodontic work (braces), they've had exceptional communication, are reliable, & do great work. They have my family's trust & we will continue to use them for younger daughter's upcoming orthodontic work as well.
