5Fact: My son was 9 years old. Dr Sepideh Agah suggested to do sealant on his molars for preventive purpose. She said insurance covers 100% of the cost. After the procedure, she told us the insurance actually didn't cover anything and we will be responsible for the cost. 6 months later, my son turned 10, 2 of the molars are gone (maybe 3, need to double check with the tooth fairy on this). Sealant are gone with the teeth also. Opinion: We thought as a professional, she should know the molars are baby teeth and with his age they can be gone anytime. The suggestion of doing the sealant was totally not necessary. And the communication about "will be covered by insurance" was misleading also.
