AS CRAZY AS THIS SOUNDS...BUT YOU NEED TO RUN AWAY FROM BAD DENTIST DR AHANI HESSAM of Pacifica, CA ...if you wish to keep all of your teeth INTACT after a routine teeth cleaning...read ON my friend...to SAVE YOUR GOOD TEETH..... Just imagine after a SINGLE visit to Dr. Hessam for an initial visit for exam, X-rays, and light teeth cleaning...then his seemingly UN-trained dental hygenist BROKE OFF a BIG 20-year old porcelain filling from your molar...(see dental X ray) and OVERNIGHT, you SPIT OUT what you thought was loose chicken bones for din din at home...KA-THUNK!, ka-THUNK!...KLUNK!....weird sounds...of white gravels bouncing OFF the metal sink wall surface...THREE different times...in ONE night... What is WORSE is the Dr. HESSAM damages the normal intact teeth with help of this nervous, UNTRAINED assistant Jane...then...STICKS YOU with a $3000 bill for non-existent crown work. Can you say, "SCAM?" But NO...those were solid CHUNKS of white chipped OFF fillings flying OUT of your mouth bouncing OFF the metal sink!! You freak OUT...Then, you felt with your tongue...a NEW Grand Canyon in your molar...a GIANT HOLE that was NOT there before!...WTH?? So...you email and CALL Dr. Hessam several times, leaving VM messages and mentioned INTENSE dental pains radiating OUT throughout your gums and skull...WORSE pain EVER!...But...NO reply...Dr. Hessam just ignores you..never replies back....just as he CONDONED the gross negligence of his dental assistants... Instead, in ONE week...Dr. HESSAM decides to suddenly FIRE you as client and fully refunds all your dental fees...and mails it with a Dr. John letter, saying he is dismissing you as his client FOR NO sound reason....the whole time you are trying to inform him of what happened... What was WORSE...was when his seemigly UN-trained and RECKLESS hygienist who TALKS TOO MUCH was distracted and DRILLED into your molar with POWER TOOL, INSTEAD of cleaning it...she DAMAGED that tooth FOREVER...you watch as she runs over hastily to the supervisor in another room and they INTENTIONALLY CUT OFF the power to the dental equipment or pretend to....she looked like a scared deer in the HEADLIGHTS..too LATE...ain't it?? ...Jane, was her name...she runs back into the room and REFUSES to finish the dental cleaning...tells you they "suddenly lost power" YET all of the office LIGHTS were still ON...and that you would have to LEAVE the office IMMEDIATELY!...say WHAT??? Dental assistants NOT CERTIFIED??. Dangerously INCOMPETENT. Doctors office should ONLY HIRE certified assistants Not INCOMPETENT dental hygienists, right? Just minutes BEFORE during the X-rays...all of your teeth were ALL INTACT with NO HOLE...but when you go home...you get a HUGE HOLE and HELLISH dental pain in YOUR SKULL!...Tooth must NOW be YANKED OUT...NOT fixable...it is NOW a split into TWO cracked tooth...NOT to mention ONGOING toothaches and chewing PROBLEMS...OwwwWWWW...you KNOW the kind of PAIN that makes you CRY... Just how SHADY can these folks be?.....Covering up gross NEGLIGENCE is just NOT ethical NOR right...come ON Dr. HESSAM...man Up and take responsibility...you KNOW your assistant SCREWED Up ROYALLY...but NO...took EASY way OUT...you know cover up = NO BUENO senor... And to RUB salt into the fresh wound...Jane directs you to office manager Mabel at the front desk to FORCE you to get TOTALLY UNNECESSARY crown work on healthy teeth forcing a $3000 BILL ON YOU...Wait, is this a SCAM HERE?? Hey, Doc, how can you and your assistant rest easy at night bro...unless you have NO conscience nor shame... First, you DAMAGE client's teeth, [can happen to YOU or FAMILY MEMBERS TOO if you choose this office] AND COVER it up, and NOW want to CHARGE an ARM and Leg for NONEXISTENT crown work...then, FIRED you to sweep it ALL under the rug...how convenient is that?...the WHOLE SHOREVIEW DENTAL OFFICE STINKS like a SCAM outhouse full of dried turds made ripe in the August Chicago summer HEAT... ...Sadly, this is what REALLY occurred to yours truly at Dr. HESSAM'S office...In short...if YOU... my friend want to KEEP your perfect SMILE and good fillings and like eating fresh apples and corn on cob then...RUN away!..GIT...GO to ANOTHER dentist...ANYWHERE ELSE but at Dr. HESSAM'S to AVOID getting SCREWED with permanently DAMAGED teeth that MUST now be YANKED OUT...then SAVE YOURSELF a trip to dental HELL....... ...and Doc, WHY are YOU still mailing me your FALSE advertising dental biz fliers???..NO I do not feel "SAFE'".. .it's INSULTING me intelligence bro...I KNOW what a QUACK JOBS is involved here....Already...sadly...just go AWAY!......see CRACKED TOOTH image attached in my profile pics series, note split TOOTH on the left side of X-ray dental image ...a picture is a THOUSAND WORDS...peace out my friend....
Chelsea and Doc care about their patients. It is evident in the time the take and their explanations. I also appreciate that they are direct and consistent. As a patient it is important to me that my needs are always addressed the same way and the right way. My visit this morning at 7 AM was quick and comfortable. They had coffee for me, a blanket, and TV. Not so bad for the dentist..

I can't thank Dr. John, Diego, Lisa, and Chelsea enough. I've neglected my teeth for years. Together they restored my confidence and my smile. I am proud of my teeth now and have regained my self esteem. Dawn spent the time to work within my financial restrictions and made it as affordable as possible for me to accomplish this goal. I've proudly sent my work associates here..
This was my second teeth cleaning after several visits to correct decades of personal neglect, and I'm very satisfied with Dr. Acosta and his friendly staff. The relaxing environment and exceptional work is something I'd recommend to anyone seeking dental service for their family. : ).
