I had a nightmare experience with Dr. Sweeney maybe back in the day he was a great dentist but time makes everyone not as sharp. I had a tooth I needed extracted I went on the advice of a friend as had an infected tooth needed pulled. I went in and he seemed nice enough as well as his staff but the extraction took nearly an hour and half of straight trying to pull my tooth which broke apart in several pieces. Then months later I had a bad infection in same area. I went to emergency dental and to my horror that same dentist was working and the one to see me. He didn't recognize me, I kept it to myself he did an xray and seen I had that same exact tooth was greatly infected because who ever pulled it left the root. He even commented what a horrible dentist that was, Doc that was you. I never went back there. I still have the infected tooth and just take antibiotics I get from my Doctor when the infection occurs again. I would never recommend him to anyone. Some people don't know when to retire which is what I think is the case for this dentist. I really hate the dentist now thanks Doc Sweeney for that.
