Best Dentist In City - Dr. Kalpana Kaveti, DMD

Dr. Craig Berkin, DMD

Awful dentist. He's only good at getting you in quick and not emptying your pockets. I went to him for years, from the age or 6 or 7 to 18 or 19. As a kid, he would tell me parents everything was fine and I had no cavities. Then, after I graduated High School my parents insurance changed and we starting seeing another dentist. The other dentist found what Berkin neglected to tell me, 6 cavities. I don't recall Berkin having taken X-rays on me. I had a root canal performed by a specialist he referred me too, that went smooth but Berkin didn't have a crown fitted for that tooth he just put in a filling which has now partially come out. His equipment is woefully outdated too, he had equipment that looked to be from the 60's or 70's. So here I am, 4 years later needing work done from what he neglected..

I originally liked Dr. Berkin. He is friendy and his staff is friendly. He gets you in super fast and even does the cleanings himself. However, it was a misconception. He failed to refill the right tooth, which lead the other tooth to decay more and chip. Now, I may have to get a root canal on the tooth. His procedures are extremely painful. I had 3 shots to numb my gum. My mouth was black and blue. My lip is still numb on an off. Moreover, whatever he uses is not very strong, because you will feel extreme nerve pain, when he fixes the tooth. Just recently he missed 5 cavities at my last visit and he didn't even X-ray me. I don't recall him X-raying me very often. All of this is extremely upseting, because I take good care of my teeth!!! .
