Best Dentist In City - Dr. Kalpana Kaveti, DMD

Dr. Gita Safaian, DMD

She came into my appointment 10 minutes late to check on a root canal causing sever pain, then immediately began berating me in a very aggressive tone, accusing me of being “stupid” and causing my own problems, which she continued to insinuate during her long tirade, even before I could tell her how painful it was. As her tirade continued I realized her aggression toward me was aimed at circumventing anything I might have to say about the gaping hole she'd left in my tooth she'd worked on..

She knew I was very fearful, and did her best to ease my fears. However after a very difficult time getting me numb during the first half of the procedure, you would think she would have prepared for that during the 2nd. Instead, when I continued to feel the deep root pain during the procedure she literally ripped the face shield off my face and stated, "I can't help you, you had better hope you never become seriously ill, you wont survive!" Months later, I need to have the work redone. terrible.

She is very skilled and very caring. A year after my first root canal treatment pain began in the same tooth. She went out of her way to figure out what the problem was, including referring me to UCONN, setting aside her ego. In the end it wasn't a root canal issue, rather a crown issue. I'm quite sure that her efforts preserved my tooth...most dentists would have extracted it. Dr. Safaian is a very special physician..
