10My regular dentist was on vacation, so I went to Dr. Samuel\'a office. I was told I needed a root canal, which I don\'t actually think I did. After the root canal was started, it was discovered they did not have the proper tools, and I would need to go to a specialist. I went back to her office for the crown, and I was fitted with a BRIGHT WHITE crown (I do NOT have white teeth), which has caused me pain and discomfort since it was done. I am going to pay out-of-pocket to have it replaced at a trusted dentist, as it is a nuisance (and sticks out like a sore thumb since it was not color matched). I was also handed a proposed treatment plan and told I needed about $4,000 work of dental work immediately. To add insult to injury, I was billed an additional $100+ some months later, because supposedly my insurance didn\'t cover all of the work performed.

1My family had two very poor experiences with My Dentist of Stillwater. My son, like most kids, does not do too well at the dentist. He had an appointment made weeks ahead of time to fix two cavities and remove one tooth. We show up 15 minutes early and are told they are behind schedule. They will only be able to do 2 of the 3 procedures today. They expected us to bring him to another appointment and to put him under twice, through all the pain. That was a bad experience, but my wife recently tried to get a root canal done there. They should warn clients that they are not capable of this. They got half way through the procedure, and the dentist was unable to finish. He then referred her to a dentist who could finish it, and then told her to come back to get the crown put on. So, he expected her to go through 3 procedures when any capable dentist would be done in one. In short, find another dentist to go to. They are nice, pleasant people for the most part. But, they are not capable dentists and do try to overcharge you according to insurance.
