6My family has seen Dr. Burnett for 10 years for routine cleaning. I had a root canal & have had the hardest time getting a perm crown. After seeing the dr for the root canal, I went back to Dr. Burnett for the temp/perm crown. A mold was taken & I was to return in 3 wks for a perm crown. The day before my appointment & 10 minutes AFTER my confirmation phone call, I received another call from her office telling me that they were \"going in a different direction\". She couldn\'t tell me what that meant & was supposed to call me back. A week later my temp crown cracked & I called again. Of course they want to see me (4th visit and time off work) & when confronted with the fact that nobody called me to explain why my appointment was put off for another 3 weeks, she said that the dr. had to file down my mold and she HOPED it would be ready by my next appt. I asked if I could speak to the dr & she said that I would need to make an appt. This entire process has been unacceptable.

1Allowing this provider to work on my teeth was the absolute worst mistake of my life. She placed veneers on my four front teeth. Within a couple of weeks, one fell out; after a few more weeks, two more fell out. Apparently she did not understand how to secure a veneer by wrapping it around the bottom of the tooth. Having a more experienced dentist in the office replace them was a very difficult process. I spent months with either no front teeth or with ugly, stained temporary veneers. The one veneer that actually stayed in is uncomfortable, with rough edges that stick into the inside of my lip. As if that wasn’t enough of a nightmare, the payment plan set up by her office was intentionally designed to cause me to go over a certain date (even though I made all monthly payments on time in the exact amount specified), and now they’re trying to charge an additional $1,500 in interest. They should be glad that I would even pay the original amount agreed upon!
