I had to have an extensive cleaning, and two cavities filled. I was not responding to anesthesia, and I was tired, scared, and in pain, but Dr. Howard was so sweet and so calming and reassuring. The entire staff all checked in on me and gave me several options to reschedule my appointments if it was too much for that day. By the second half of my appointment, I had a blanket over me, a neck pillow around me, and a mouth guard to cover sensitive teeth and keep my mouth propped open. Over the course of two hours, I went from borderline panic attack during my cleaning to almost asleep during my filling, and I credit Dr. Howard\'s kind words and calming affirmations for that. Going in for the second part of my cleaning later, and I have a lot less anxiety about it.
