Dr. Jardine is a competent dentist and he did a great job restoring the composites on my front teeth when they wore out about six months apart. I saw Dr. Jardine both times, and requested him the second time. Dr. Jardine is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. However, the assistant for the first visit was not good. She took x-rays of my mouth using a portable camera. Dr. Jardine looked at the x-rays and said I had a problem. I was surprised because except for breaking my two front teeth when I was little, I had never had any problems! When he did an exam of my mouth, he was confused because he said everything looked fine. He had the assistant redo the x-ray and it was good. Then before the procedure, the assistant started to numb my mouth with gel to give me a shot without asking me or explaining what she was doing. I made her stop and told her I didn\'t want a shot which confused her. I\'ve never been numbed for this work as an adult. She should have let me know what she was planning
