8Never walked through the door, phone calls were enough for me. Staff is not knowledgeable in regards to patients with a service dog or laws surrounding them. I was given the run around. I was told they need to make sure it was \"OK\" with the dentist, then they needed to see if he was comfortable. When advised that it was violating the ADA to deny a service dog access, the reasons changed. I was told they had to make arrangements with other patients in case of allergy; all of the above actions are violations of the Americans With Disabilities Act. I don\'t legally have to call ahead about my child\'s medical equipment. I was told if I had shown up with my son\'s service dog without calling ahead, I would have to wait in the car.
