Backstory: I had not been to the dentist in over 10 years, and I suspected I had a lot of work to do. I knew I needed an implant, so I researched for the best implant doctor in the area. I know an implant rep, and he called the higher-ups at his company for a referral in the area. Two separate people at the company recommended the same name: Dr. Jeremy Heldt. I was told that he specializes in the latest technology in computer assisted dental implants, and he actually gives lectures on how to use the equipment. The office is super clean, the staff is quite kind, and there are a number of little things in place to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Dr. Heldt even offered to turn the music to a podcast I was listening to. My first visit confirmed my suspicions that I needed a bit of work. They broke down the cost structure, gave me a couple of different treatment plans - explaining the cost/benefit analysis of each option - and scheduled me for a crown the following week.
