My wife and I are retired and live on S.S. only. Needless to say, our resources are very limited. My wife has most of her given teeth and they are reasonably healthy for her age. She also has advanced dementia. It is our goal to keep them as healthy as possible given our limited resources. Our supplement insurance covers an annual cleaning and evaluation. She has been seeing Dr. Andy Kehmeier DDS until this last visit when Dr. Stephen Sherwood stepped in to provide the scheduled cleaning. Much to our surprise we find out that he is not part of the insurance network so we received a handsome bill of $224. He saw fit to provide three separate procedures each having there separate charges. Why couldn\'t they have submitted these charges under Dr. Kehmeiers\' name to eliminate this needless problem? Needles to say, none of these charges were authorized by me and I have power of attorney on her behalf. A power of attorney has been provided to your office. Make what ever adjustments needed.
