5Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. My son was sick, and because i didn't know he would be sick 24hrs in advance, they wanted to charge me a fee for rescheduling. I felt that was ridiculous, so i decided to switch dentists. Dr. Rao's office refuses to send my medical records to my new dentist and have placed me in collections citing medical records fee. Again they refused to send my records, so I am unsure how i can be in collection for services not rendered. I have requested a phone call directly from Dr. Rao and to date have received no phone calls. In short, i have contacted my attorney with regards to this matter, as i am sure she is violating some HIPPA law in withholding my medical records. Luckily, I found a way around her and was able to get my dental insurance to approve new x-rays for my son and myself. Dr. Rao is not getting a penny from me.
