How Patients Feel
NEGATIVEPatient Reviews
1My wife started treatment over a year ago, when Dr. Horvath was still practicing. Had I written the review then, it would be all positives. Unfortunately, the company had been bought out by "florida4braces" about eight months ago, and the new staff and policies are anything but customer friendly. The new manager, Carrie, has maintained a condescending and insulting demeanor whenever she speaks to my wife or I about appointments or payments. Her attitude is much worse when a late payment is involved. Just this morning, Carrie made my wife cry after she hung up on her, refusing to see her due to a late fee she couldn't immediately pay. My wife has yet to even see her new orthodontist. We are literally held hostage with this company since we have already put several thousand into the treatment and it would cost several thousands more to take on a new orthodontist. These guys are quick to ask for money but it seems like they don't intend on providing anything in return. This is not a local business - these guys are corporately owned and will be quick to give you the cold shoulder if you are late on a payment. Repeatedly, they have asked for payments when we had already paid. I am under the impression that is all they are there for, to accept payments - nothing else. Do yourself a favor, and go with an orthodontist that is local, has friendly staff and forgiving policies.
