Dr Horvath's work was not the problem, but the treatment I received from one of his orthodontic assistants was. She was always polite and friendly when interacting with other patients who were white children, but with me she was consistently impatient, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I remember getting my braces tightened and needing to change out by bands and being asked to select a color. I took a moment to decide and the assistant sighed loudly and rolled her eyes. She was working with another patient prior to me and did not do the same while she took time to pick out her color, she was smiling patiently. On another occasion I had to take an x-ray and she asked me to take out my hair tie because of the metal. I let her know my hair tie did not have metal, it was all rubber and she screamed at me to take it off. On another occasion I was brought back and laid in the chair for an hour.
The hygienist was not good with my 3 year old and was too forceful with X-rays, which caused my child a ton of anxiety and she totally shut down and refused to do anything. The dentist suggested the first line of treatment as pretty aggressive, she needed fillings and sedation was required for that practice. We got a second opinion and thankfully found a dentist with a more gentle approach and staff that was more engaging and playful. We easily completed the work needed with no sedation..
VERY RUDE OFFICE STAFF! Not only do they have HORRIBLE customer service, but instead of looking at my daughters file and realizing she was a return patient with the same issue, in order to respond to a negative review, they insinuated that I was a lazy parent. I'm in awe right now at this office staff. Please DO NOT go see them!.
The staff was kind and comforting when I was so afraid because I hadn't been to see a dentist in many years! The dentist at Aspen came across as a bit harsh at times and Arrogant but the rest of the staff was amazing..
Everyone was so nice and helpful the girls in the office are awesome The denist was great straight forward and explains everything I'm still scared of having all this dental work done but at least I will be out of pain in a few days.
