Saw Dr. Castro this morning in regards to two teeth that I believed needed root canals. Dr. Castro was on time, the office was beautiful and clean, and the front desk staff was friendly. Dr. Castro came in and soothed my fears. I had a few awful experienes when I was younger and tears started to flow. Dr. Castro, was SO kind, informative, & understanding. In addition, she referred me out to an amazing oral surgeon to extract theteeth. If I ever need any endodontic treatment- she is my 1st call.

If you have silver point treated root canal’s that he suggests should be removed make certain to ask how much experience he has regarding this procedure, never assume anything. The first time he removed the crown on my tooth he replaced it incorrectly leaving me with a very high bite. Returning two days later I mentioned the problem, he barely touched the tooth when it simply fell out of my mouth, and I still have a piece of silver point left in one canal, very sloppy work. In addition extremely expensive and exhausting due to two sessions on the same day same tooth starting at 8.30a concluding at 6p. An impatient individual who showed great frustration at not achieving his goal. Root canals take time, patience and a calm attitude, attempting to remove silver points make the procedure even more delicate and in my case the result was far from satisfactory.
