Not where you want to go for an emergency! Terrible bedside manner, arrogant, poor follow up care, and noncompliance with patient’s request. This is what we have experienced during a recent interaction. I cannot speak for “normal care” that some receive but it has been a nightmare for us and our situation. Over three weeks trying to find answers and explanations to finally be told they will no longer talk to us, but will only communicate with our attorney. If this sounds like what you’re looking for then Starski at Aspen dental in New Philadelphia, Ohio is where you want to go! Otherwise, try to manage the situation you’re in until you can get into a non-chain dentist who treats patients as individuals..
I have experiences with both Dr Ed Hawk and Dr Carrie Hawk. They are both professionals and are the best around. I would certainly recommend this family practice for all your dental needs..
Beside manner is extremely horrible. Does not take patient uncomfortably into consideration. Filled a tooth to deep. Went in to ask about it the pain, they stated it was normal after a filling. Went in for an emergency visit due to excruciating pain, get diagnosed with a bruised tooth. Go to a new dentist, here she filled my tooth to deep and the filling was on my nerve. Six months of pain, I went through!!! Now I have to go to a specialist and she don't think she needs to pay for that..
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! Scheduled an emergency appointment with her due to a broken tooth. Had never been there before, but was looking for a new dentist since my dentist did not do amalgam fillings for molars that would be covered under my insurance. Instead of fixing my tooth that I scheduled the appointment for that day, she told me she couldn't do nothing until she had a full mouth set of x-rays done that I had just gotten done at my other dentist 7 months ago. The receptionist I give 5 stars..
I love this office! They are young,friendly,and so lively. I will never go anywhere else ;-).
