I have gone to this dentist for several years and had an "ok" experience. Yesterday, I was taken in by scare tactics and massively overcharged for a service. Six times the going rate for what i actually got in terms of service! I discovered this after I got home and did some research online. Research I couldn't do as I sat in the dentist's chair being told I needed this treatment and being handed a bill to approve before they would continue. Turns out all I really needed was a good cleaning. That's what I came there for. That and an exam. I was never actually seen by the dentist, nor did I have my actual teeth evaluated. What I got was screwed. I have asked that they rebate my account for the egregious charge. I've gotten no response. Greed rather than care. No wonder our healthcare system is such a mess.
