How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
8I have had Dr. English for a while. I specifically went to their practice because it was close. I recommended to my husband that he switch dentists because it was so local. Over the last two years my husband has had to have a root cannel because of a filling that he got at that office. I had a partial made that has had to be repaired once and the second time it broke I would not have them fix it. My concern now is that for the last few months my husband had been questioning them in the office about the billing. He noticed that less and less was getting covered by the insurance. He specifically asked and was told that they were submitting everything. What they failed to tell us on the few times that they were asked was that they were no longer part of our network. We called the insurance company and they told us that we were no longer going to a dentist that was in network. My husband called the dentist office and the response is really why I am writing this review. "Yes we know - we have had that issue with other patients" So my husband asked why we were not told about this and she basically shrugged it off. I find that this was a very deceptive way of over charging us. He asked to have some of the over charged amounts refunded and was ignored. We have insurance for a reason!!
