I do not recommend these guys. I was quoted having 3 cavities a couple years ago by this practice. I later checked with another dentist and was told I have none! Cavities do not go away. If you choose to utilize their services, get a second opinion and be prepared for used car sales tactics and pressure..
*Intimidation/scare tactics-questionable billing practices. We were referred to this office for my father-in-law who has dementia and has suffered three strokes. They took impressions for a lower plate and referred him to an oral surgeon. He was asked to pay $799 that day and he did. He then received a bill for $54, which he also paid. We then received a certified letter in August stating that he owed $250 for services rendered and if he did not pay they would "be forced to prosecute which will increase the total amount due by you drastically." The letter was signed by Practice Manager Tiffany Ozburn. Of course my father-in-laws first instinct was to pay it as we was literally shaking. It did not seem right to me as it was on plain white paper and came in a white envelope with our address handwritten and a typed label for their address. I called the office requesting to speak with Tiffany, she could not come to the phone. I then sent two emails and left two additional messages. I was denied the opportunity to speak with anyone else upon my request. 13 days later, I called again and Tiffany happened to answer saying she had been out of the office because she got married. She denied that the letter used the word prosecution, although she signed it herself. I read it to her. To that she quickly replied that was a charge for when he returns to their office. I read the quote from the letter stating this was f"or services rendered." He was referred out to an oral surgeon and has no need to return to that office, so services were NOT rendered. I then asked her to write my father-in-law a letter stating that they had made a billing error so that he has that as he was so distraught by her first letter. She refused twice saying she "will just print a statement." Again I asked for a way to contact Dr. Mcdonald as I feel that he should be aware of what appears to me as deceitful billing practices and scare tactics being used by his Practice Manager, Tiffany..
