In the past, I have collaborated with this Provider on the use of the electric scaler and the timing of routine X-rays. This last $280.00 visit hand scaling wasn’t an option. Also, the new partner said she would lose her license if I didn’t get more x-rays. I have other health conditions to consider, and my feelings and concerns matter after I have been advised. My front lower back teeth usually feel really clean after hand scaling, but not this time with the electric scaler. My husband can’t tolerate the electric scaler, so he goes back for injections for pain for a cleaning. I wonder if hand scaling would work for him? Not an option here. His teeth have been cleaned regularly for years without injections, but people change as has the focus upon the patient at this office. So even if you don’t have much plaque build up, there aren’t options here. It is such a nice office, I am disappointed.
