I just had an awful experience with two Milton police officers. They harassed me and accused me of wrong-doing because a man who had also harassed me and physically threatened me called them. When I explained my situation and said that this man had threatened me and call me a f_ggot,they did nothing. Instead, they threatened to tow my legally registered, legally licensed, and legally parked car away. So I guess it's OK to have hate crimes in Milton? I wonder if I were African-American and the man who threatened me has used the N-word, if they'd responded the same way, by doing nothing. Or if I were Jewish and called me H_eb or K_kike in threatening me, it would have been tolerated.
