How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
14I had to see Dr. Forbes for a consultation on two teeth that needed to possibly be extracted. I told her right when I got in that dentists and dental stuff made me very anxious so if she could be gentle with her wording, that would be great. She took that and did the exact opposite. She came in and said \"This is not good\" referring to the x-rays. Both teeth need to be extracted.\" Turns out both teeth did not and that was reckless to say. As a dentist, you have a duty to make your patients feel comfortable and understand that not everyone is comfortable in a dental chair. Be kind. Put yourself in my (very anxious) shoes and choose your words carefully. I had ASKED her to be aware of my anxiety, and she blew that off. Of all the dental people in the area, I would just say: don\'t go see Dr. Forbes. She was just awful.
