I can honestly say that my root canal never hurt, not during, not after, never. He works in segments so that you're not sitting in a chair for 4+ hrs with your mouth wide open. If I ever need another root canal, I'll go back to Dr. Wiz.

TERRIBLE!! This practice is very large and treats their patients like numbers, their customer service (or lack there of) is the worst! The fact that you have to make an appointment 6 months ahead of time is besides the point...I've been blessed with great teeth, so I was concerned and very nervous when they informed me I had to have my wisdom teeth removed, as I've never had such an invasive procedure before. The dentist could not be bothered to answer my questions or give me any information on the surgery. They then referred me to an oral surgeon in Chester, even though I am a patient at the Three Chopt location and live in the west end. Then after requesting my x-rays from a very rude receptionist the copy they provided to the oral surgeon wasn't developed properly, which meant the surgeon could not make an informed recommendation and I wasted an entire afternoon driving down to Chester for nothing. If you're looking for a stellar dentist, this isn't it. Don't waste your time or money on a practice that doesn't seem to care about their patients.

Dr. Nia is an amazing orthodontist. His staff are professional and patient. My child\'s braces have already made a difference, and they have urgent hours set aside every day in case of bracket adjustment, etc. We have never had a long wait, and he takes a lot of time explaining to my child what they are doing. I highly recommend Dr. Nia!

I can\'t say enough great things about Dr. Chen and his staff. To say I have a bad fear of the dentist would be the understatement of the year. I need drugs to calm me down just thinking about the dentist, due to 2 very traumatic experiences in my past. Dr. Chen was amazing in calming me down and beyond amazing during treatment. I was not in pain or uncomfortable for even a second during my extraction. It truly restored my faith in going to the dentist!

No due to lack of sanitary practices and unapproachability. I am never comfortable with a medical office where in the dr brings her dogs to work and is very focused on them while working. I think that is not a comforting cleanliness practice. Because of this and just not viewing enough cleaning going on between patients by a staff that shares a mood in office that comes off somber, and the Dr.\'s defensive response to attemptiong a nice and (intended to be) productive conversation about cleanlienss concerns, I pulled my kids out even though I lost financially. A small price for peace of mind and best or at least better practices.

Village Family Dentistry is the most advanced family dental practice in glen allen VA. Dr. Patel and staff is AWESOME. She takes time to explain the condition and tailors plan to meet your individual needs.
