Never in my life have I seen a thieving dentistry until this scam. First question I asked upon entering was does my insurance cover the visit which includes examination and cleaning. Did so when I made the appointment and was told both times yes. as soon as i got in the back, was told I needed a deep cleaning after X-rays and that it's $50. I repeated I wanted a regular cleaning and was told I had to have the deep cleaning and had to pay $50 regardless, so even if I walked out at that point, they were charging me. Then they said they would give me a mouthwash for my teeth. i get up to the outtake receptionist and they charge me $11 for this small bottle. Reporting to BBB.
At kampas orthodontics the staff is always friendly. Being an adult was made more comfortable. I was nervous about getting braces as an adult but they all made me feel very comfortable and no reason to be embarrassed???? . Also being an adult scheduling is challenging but they have two offices and work around my changing schedule..
Having three children that all require different orthodontic care it was important we chose an office that could meet our needs. Working with this office staff over the past four years has been a pleasure. I found that appointments were always on time at both the Mars and Zelienople offices. Dr. Kampas and the staff are outstanding and always easy to deal with. They take the time each appointment to ensure we understand how our treatment plans are progressing. Thank you all for my families experience. Having three children that all require different orthodontic care it was important we chose an office that could meet our needs.
