Wow! What a difference the Doctor makes! My procedure was a breeze. Two extractions and a bone graft, and it was less of an ordeal than a filling, or even a cleaning. No pain at all, no trauma, no stress. Dr. Zaman is gentle, and extremely skilled. There's not even any post operative pain, I didn't even fill the prescription for pain medication. I took the day off thinking it would be an ordeal, honestly I could have been beck at work by lunchtime like nothing happened, it was that easy. Dr. Zaman doesn't believe in "discomfort", his goal is zero pain, zero stress, and he uses the most modern methods to do it. I took a pill to make me feel drowsy before the procedure, so there was no anxiety at all. Dr. Zaman took a 3d scan, not at all like the dentist xray where you bite down on an uncomfortable piece of cardboard and hold still while the make several attempts. I just rested my chin and stood still for few seconds and the scan was done. And the image was unbelievable. It was a lifelike 3d image of my jaw and teeth, you could see everything crystal clear, so it was obvious what work needed to be done. Dr. Zaman used a very strong topical anesthetic so I didn't feel the numbing shots. I always feel those shots at other dentists. My procedure was so fast and painless, I did not know the teeth were out and the bone graft was done. I have always thought the idea of dental implants was a too invasive surgery. But now I think bridges and crowns and root canals are way more invasive. My extractions and bone grafts were less painful than my last filling; it was really an eye opener. I've completely changed my mind, I can't wait to go back for the implant, I'm never going through ordeal of bridgework again. Thank you Dr. Zaman!
