I enjoyed my visits with Dr. Marx in high school. I wore my braces for one year and moved on to the wire retainers. After so long, I only had to wear them at night. After that, he told me I wouldn't have to wear them again....which is wrong. Everyone I have ever met has told me that retainers are for life! Now, I have a gap! I feel a little cheated with my whole experience because now, I would have to look into a cosmetic alternative, which is not covered by insurances.
