My oldest son has been going there since it was owned by Dr. Hall, my youngest son started shortly after Dr. Ambrose came on board. He was told last year that he needed 4 teeth filled, which took us by surprise, but we jumped on it and took care of the fillings. He returned in 6 months for his f/u and I was told that he needed 4 more teeth filled. I was shocked this time due to the short time period and we were adamant about going behind him and post brushing/flossing. Our insurance changed which prompted a change in dentists. We knew we had to have these 4 teeth taken care of so I made arrangements with the new facility to do the fillings. They did a consult with xrays on yesterday and we were told that there was no decay and he did not need the 4 fillings that Dr. Ambrose was trying to do to him. I'm not calling anyone out on this, but some thing seems out of line and I am grateful to our insurance company for having his office out of network. Word of caution: don't feel out of line for seeking out another opinion.Saved us approx. $600 out of pocket and the trauma to our little boy.

I normally do not leave reviews but after reading the review given by "Kim" I felt I had to say something in this instance. First, Dr Hall did send out a very detailed letter announcing his new Dr. The letter not only let us know Dr Ambrouse would be joining him but it also went on to tell us all about where he attended school as well as details about his family, including the fact that he also has 2 small children. I myself have not met him as of yet, maybe he is 'horrible' as she states, but I felt the facts should be correct. Secondly, his staff is great as well! I have never had any of them be rude or not helpful to me especially when trying to schedule appts around my schedule. They have always been very accommodating. My daughter has been going to Dr Hall's office for 3 years now and they have not once 'screwed up' scheduling or been rude or inconsiderate. She actually enjoys going to the dentist because of them. Maybe Kim was just having a bad day and missed the letter that was sent to all his patients about the new Dr joining him.
