October 2010 I had my braces put on, I was told it would be about 18 months, I guestimated a bit longer due to having been told, sometimes it's shorter sometimes it goes a bit over. It is now July 2014... they are still on. I had them briefly taken off for my wedding last JUNE, with Dr. Meader telling me when I get them back on after the wedding, maybe about 6 more months, and it is now over a year later. There have been a few visits where she looks at my chart and has to ask her assistant Mitch, (who I think is great) what was their plan and what they were working on. It doesn't make me feel at ease when the DR. is saying this. The front desk women, Kim and Nina are great too. I just don't recommend the Dr. The wait time my very first visit was about 2 hours IN THE CHAIR, usually they wait time there is still long unless I am at the first appointment early in the morning. I just feel like she doesn't really know what she is doing if they are taking this long.
