In my 30 years of going to the dentist I've never heard of scheduling cleanings separately from checkups, which is apparently how Culver Del Rey operates. Also expect a bunch of x-rays and suggestions for unnecessary procedures to be pushed on you by their "professionals" who seem like they are living fat off bilking patients' insurance. If you value your time and your sanity, do yourself a favor and find a different dentist. Cons: Incredibly long wait times, poor customer service, inefficient office staff Pros: Clean bathroom, 10/10 would pee there again.

If I could leave a review with 0 stars for Dr. Palmer and Culver Del Rey Dental Center, I would. I have never felt more cheated by a dental practice than I do right now. They described a treatment plan for my daughter, they set up a payment plan for that treatment. We signed a contract and made installments for several months. Then they dropped a bombshell on us and said that in order to continue we needed to pay an additional $1000 up front. Instead of telling us what the full and true cost was going to be at the outset, they waited until we were locked in and unable to go anywhere else or do anything but pay the additional money. If we try to switch dentists now, all the money that we have put in so far will be lost and wasted. I want to note that I tried SEVERAL times to get Dr. Palmer to talk to me on the phone. I asked his office staff to have him call me. He never called. I called and left messages asking for him to call me. He never returned my calls. What kind of business owner will not have a conversation with a customer who feels like they are being treated unfairly or improperly? The kind who either tolerates or promotes that treatment. I'm stuck with this office for my daughter's current treatment, but for any other work I will take my family of 4 elsewhere. ANYWHERE but here.
