Extremely unprofessional, I had problems with the same tooth and kept going back, the third time he dismissed me saying he was a “higher end” dentist. What ever that meant..
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
His behaviour does not reflect that of a professional!.
So disappointing... I went to get a filling replaced, pretty straightforward I thought. I was expecting these steps: 1. numb, 2.drill, 3. prime, 4. fill, 5. adjust, 6. polish, 7, quality check. What I got was: numb, drill, fill. I had to go back once for adjust and polish, as the filling was protruding and rough. But it's still not floss-able, meaning another trip in. Compared to all other dentists I've been to, his work is haphazard and rushed. He didn't do many of the steps I thought were basic or fundamental to dentistry. As a family we're definitely switching dentists. Also, there is an odd emphasis from the Dentist on needing a bite guard. Every other patient of his I've talked to has also been encouraged to get a bite guard. Must be pretty hefty profit margin?!.
Nice office, friendly staff. Had to get a filling but they were super-fast and it was painless. Super positive experience after switching over from another dentist my family had been seeing here in Los Alamos. Jon and staff seem very competent, and my wife also agreed with my assessment. Would recommend if you feel unsure about your current dentist or are just moving into town..
